Investor morale in the euro zone rose for the fourth month in a row in June, reaching its highest level since February 2018, lifted by reopening restaurants and tourism resuming as coronavirus cases fall, a fresh survey showed. Sentix's index for the euro zone climbed to 28.1 from 21.0 in May. The eurozone is increasingly leaving the painful losses of the COVID-19. Friday's U.S. jobs data had put pressure on the dollar as investors bet that jobs growth was not strong enough to raise expectations for the U.S. Federal Reserve to tighten its monetary policy.
