Formation of Forex quotes

When it comes to the Forex market, first of all global interbank market is meant, where bank entities serve as the main source of Forex quotes. All the rest market participants only transmit these Forex quotes.

Formation of Forex quotes requires specialized modern technical means such as trading terminals. Communication is implemented via the Internet, sometimes – over the phone. This quoting method is called indicative. Further, obtained quotes are transmitted to specialized information systems - Reuters, Bloomberg, Tenfor and many others. On the next step this quote data is spread all over the world – to individuals and legal entities, subscribers of information systems.

Forex brokers transmit their quotes to traders, which are also clients of information systems.
