On December 14 Mikhail Gutseriev, principal owner of Russian oil company Russneft, announced the purchase of 100% of M.Video shares at 420 RUB per share. M.Gutseriev already owns two big companies in the same segment - Technosila and Eldorado. Therefore, M.Video purchase makes him the biggest player of Russian household appliances and electronics market.
Now company's shares go at less than 400 RUB. That means that traders will actively buy shares hoping for increase to 420 RUB. When investor buys a company, he/she always offers higher price than on market.
