U.S. inflation expectations

GBPUSD trading plan:

U.S. consumers lowered their expectations for how much inflation will rise in the near-term and medium-term periods, signaling that inflation concerns may be easing, according to a survey released by the New York Federal Reserve. One-year inflation expectations decreased for the first time since October 2020, dropping to a median of 5.8% in January from 6.0% in December, according to the New York Fed's monthly survey of consumer expectations. Inflation expectations three years out declined to 3.5% in January from 4.0% in December, showing the largest monthly drop since the survey was launched in 2013. This is a positive signal for the dollar.

Investment idea: sell 1.3566 and take profit 1.3500.
