Today there is good and bad news for the dollar. The good news is the bullish rally in the U.S. stock market. The bad news for the dollar is the fed's criticism from D. trump. President U.S. said the FOMC tight monetary policy was contributing to a strong dollar and hurting the United States' competitiveness. "I want a strong dollar, but I want a dollar that's great for our country not a dollar that is so strong that it is prohibitive for us to deal with other nations." - D. Trump said. The Fed set an explicit inflation target of 2 percent in 2012. With the growth of inflation, the FED raises rates, which D. Trump does not like.
