Britain is due to leave the EU on March 29, but Prime Minister Theresa May is seeking further concessions on her Brexit. Michel Barnier, the European Union’s chief Brexit negotiator, said he doesn’t exclude a delay to the date Britain leaves the bloc though the decision would require unanimity among the European heads of government. This is a positive signal for the British currency in the short term.
