Spring mountain river becomes turbulent, abounding and show all its indomitable character - just like the euro before the default in Greece. That is when it is time for the most extreme rafting professionals and amateurs! More than 500 gathered in early May in the Altai Mountains to show all their skills on the passage of swift mountain rivers.
Rafting Championship was held for 43th time. This tournament holds a rich history of brilliant victories and disappointing defeats, human struggling with nature. By the way, this time also nature was not going to submit athletes. At the first stage of competition athletes met a snow storm.In the latter stage a beautiful river has made a real «wall of water» for the competitors: they were forced to compete on very high water — 4th grade is out of 6 possible.
СCompetitions were held in 5 disciplines: qualification, slalom, sprint, safety, and long race. All teams have successfully passed all stages. By the way, the FreshForex team took an honorable II place in the region!!
